Like many, my journey has been both fascinating and, at times, a little bumpy. From dedicating seven years to university training to become a psychotherapist, to navigating the process of accepting that I wouldn’t have children, to making the bold decision to sell everything and move abroad on a bit of a whim! Along the way, I’ve built and run my own private practice, faced setbacks, and experienced challenges that have led to personal growth—whether it’s been early attachment trauma, PTSD after a terrorist attack, or betrayal trauma. Trust me, I’ve had to rewrite my own story more than once!
Through these varied personal experiences and my own development journey, I’ve come to realize that books don’t teach us everything! I’m grateful to combine my curiosity, passion for understanding the human mind and behavior, and personal experiences into doing the work I love.
